Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the quote request form we collect your name and email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, event date, guest count, event type, venue, and whatever you write in the message field. Email is required so we can reply; everything else is optional and only helps us quote accurately.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server and security data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is used to keep the site available and to block abuse.

How we use it

Enquiry details are used to respond to your request, prepare a quote, and arrange a booking. We may keep your details on file so we can follow up about your event and, where you have asked us to, contact you about availability for future dates. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below who help us operate the site.

Service providers

Form submissions are processed by our own form handler running on Cloudflare, and transactional email is delivered through Postmark. Contact details from enquiries may be stored in ActiveCampaign, the system we use to manage client correspondence. Reviews shown on this site are embedded from Google via Elfsight. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through the site, Google Ads to measure which advertising leads to enquiries and to build advertising audiences, and the Meta pixel to measure the performance of advertising. These set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and share usage data with Google and Meta respectively. When you send the quote request form we record that an enquiry was made, and we share a hashed version of the email address and phone number you give us with Google so it can match the enquiry to the advertising that led to it. Hashing turns those details into an irreversible value, so Google does not receive them in readable form. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's own browser add-on, and you can control personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to keep proper business records. If you would like your details removed, email [email protected] and we will delete them, other than anything we are required to retain for tax or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights — such as the EU, the UK, or California — those rights apply and we will honour them.

Children

This site markets adult and corporate entertainment and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Eric's children's and family shows are a separate brand at ericthemagicguy.com, which has its own policy.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
